Sensory Garden

A special group of students from Room 5 have been working hard to make a beautiful Sensory Garden for our school community to enjoy. They are continuing on from the fantastic work the Sensory Garden Electives group began last year. Room 5 wrote letters to garden centres in Hamilton asking if they could donate some plants to us. We were extremely lucky when Oderings Garden Centre Rototuna contacted us and were more than happy to help us out.   They donated a range of sensory plants and we have started to plant them in our garden. We also have our signs ready and soon we hope to put them in the garden, so people will know which part of the garden represents which sense.
