Mosque Visit

The children involved in our ELL (English Language Learning) programme went on a fascinating trip to the Mosque on Monday. This trip was part of their learning about different cultures and communities. Even Reuben the Bear turned up for a visit.

Multi Sport

As part of our lunchtime sport initiative, Miss Menzies has started a multi sport programme, which is a mixture of soccer, netball and basketball. The children are having a blast.

Flag Voting

Today Woodstock School got to have their say on the flag referendum. All the children filled in a voting form and posted it in a ballot box. Thank you to Miss Mac and the school leaders who helped organise the vote. It will be interesting to find out the results.

Cluster Swimming

A group of our senior students represented Woodstock at the Fairfield Cluster Swimming Sports. Thanks to Johanna Park for sending through these great shots of the action. Check out the new Woodstock Swimming cap, purchased for our swimmers by the PTA. Makes recognising our children in the pool so much easier!

World Water Day

Mrs Tangney and her Water Warriors would like to thank all the families who donated towards our World Water Day fund. All the money raised will be sent to initiatives to help people gain better access to clean water in the pacific.

Weetbix Tryathlon

A great group of children represented Woodstock at the Weetbix Tryathlon.  This is a massive event and a real achievement for the kids who participated. We look enjoyed the children wearing their tryathlon t-shirt at school with pride.

Year 2 & 3 Swimming Display

Our Year 2 and 3 students had a great morning showing off their swimming skills. They swam, paddled and splashed their way around the pool, having lots of fun. Thank you to the parents who came and supported the children at this event.
